PHYSICS 4322 – INTERMEDIATE ELECTROMAGNETIC THEORY – SPRING 2012 I. General Information Instructor: Dr. Lowell Wood Office: Room 512B SR Telephone: 713-743-3560 E-mail: [email protected] Web Site: http://www.uh.edu/~lwood/ Office Hours: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM TTH and 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM T I am here most of the time, and you are welcome to see me whenever I am in the office. If you are coming from off campus, however, I recommend that you call first to make sure I am here. II. Course Grading Examinations: Three examinations count 50% of the course grade. They will be given at four-to-five week intervals. The last exam will be given on our last class day (Thursday, April 26). Homework: Homework counts 25% of course grade. Expect about 7 - 10 problems per assignment with assignments due every Tuesday. Homework submitted late, but before its discussion in class (the next class period), will suffer a 25% reduction in credit. Final Examination:
