Howard Gardner proposed the theory of seven intelligences in1983. The seven intelligences are logical-mathematical, linguistic, spatial, musical, bodily-kinesthetic, and the personal intelligences. His theory provides a foundation for finding the different abilities of students. Spatial intelligence is most important to me because I use mental images to solve problems. Visualizing the problems or questions in my head helps me better understand them. Mental images are the best way for me to remember something also. Body movements help me by giving me mental images of the information that that I am giving.
