Unformatted text preview: Informed Consent Form Psychology 100 University of Maine at Presque Isle This demonstration is conducted by the instructor as an opportunity for students participating in Psychology 100 to observe early child development. I understand that the purpose of this demonstration is to provide students with a better understanding of the development process in early childhood according to Piaget as discussed in class and the text. I understand that during the demonstration the instructor will ask to play with my child and have him/her complete tasks and that students may take notes about their observations. For example during the observation I understand that I may be asked for permission for interaction in the following ways with my child: • Asking the child to reproduce pictures of shapes shown him/her • Asking the child whether water poured between beakers of different shapes contains the same amount of water as before it was poured....
