Unformatted text preview: Fernanda Plasencia LIB 300 October 20, 2011 Reflection A For my early learning experience I went to sunset elementary school. I am currently doing my hours in a third grade class, and the teacher that Im working with is Mrs. Baca. The room has 26 students, and the arrangement of the classroom is not like usual classrooms. The classroom is arranged in a different way, there are tables of two students, and they are set aside from each other forming a U shape. That U shape has horizontal lines connected on the side allowing easy access to walk through. I believe that the classroom was arranged this way because it is an easy way to walk through the rows, and if you are inside the U shape you can also see that the students in the rows are doing their work. The first day I went to sunset elementary, the teacher told me how she had placed the students that would get more distracted closer to her desk. As for the students that have more trouble staying in task it is understandable that she desk....
