An issue my team had in our Marketplace Simulation was that not everyone could meet up at the same time or on the same day. It was difficult because we all are in different time zones with different responsibilities. Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Conventiona l Indentifying key factors The key factors being we have a team that has to meet or exchange information somehow that the assignments needed are completed on time and correctly. Different time zones, conflict of work schedules and holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years). Analyzing causality If we don’t exchange information then the assignments won’t be completed. If the assignments aren’t completed then our grades will be bad. If our grades are bad we could fail the course. Envisioning the decision architecture First, figure out the time zones of everyone including work schedules and any holidays taken. Second, figure out the technique for communications.
