Humberto Garza de la Garza A00799699 Animal Farm By George Orwell Animal Farm is a book that describes the history of the Russian Revolution, with the help of some animals who want to take over the control of the farm where they live, which is lead by humans. The book was written in the Second World War, but it was until 1950 when it became famous. The story begins when Major, an old pig, calls all the animals of the farm to tell them that it is really unfair the way the humans are treating them and that they have to change the things soon, so they can live in better conditions. He also teaches a revolutionary song to the other animals called “Beasts of England”, all this opens the animals’ eyes and they agree with Major. Three days after Major’s speech, he dies. Then, two pigs (Napoleon and Snowball) became the leaders of the animals because the pigs were the smarter, they convince all the animals to reveal against the humans because they were tired of being treated so badly and they wanted to do that in Major’s memory.
