I. Facebook Facebook is an exciting social networking site that was launched in 2004 (Eldon, 2009). While it has some tough competition with similar sites, it is arguably the most popular. Users may create a personal profile, add other users as friends and exchange  messages, including automatic notifications when they update their profile. Additionally,  users may join common interest user groups, organized by workplace, school, or  college, or other characteristics. This site is so useful because it is so wide spread and  helps people connect from all over the world.  A. Marketing Opportunity Two This organization may also wish to use this site to promote branded clothing. This may be helpful to continue to popularize the site as well as advertise it with people of a similar age group. 1. Categorization of Opportunity Single 2. Risk Associated with Opportunity I characterize this opportunity as less palatable because it may be too closely associated with similar opportunities taking place currently. C. Marketing Opportunity Three Facebook may wish to sell personalized ad space on its site.

1. Categorization of Opportunity The real issue with this possibility is that it is sort of being done, but at a lesser degree. My idea is to provide personalized ad space on the site whereas now the site offers some advertising for specific companies. I realize this is a
