1) TRANSMITTER: Choose one of the three circuits, pick values for the resistors, and decide which input you wish for the audio and which for the rf. Our rf input was on input 1 and it was an 11Vp-p sine wave @100kHz. Our af input was on input 2 and it was a 5Vp-p sine wave @ 745Hz. Which circuit did you choose? We choose the circuit in figure 1a. What are the values you chose for resistors and supply voltages? Our resistor values were R1=R2=1kΩ. Our dc voltage supply V- was -3.15V. How large a modulated signal did you obtain? The modulated signal was +2.47V to –2.47V with the bottom of the carrier at –3.22V. Please see sketch below.
