PHASE OSCILLATOR OBJECTIVE: To study the operation and characteristics of oscillators based on op-amps. Part 1 Design the following op-amp circuit to have a gain of about 60: R1 = R2 = 10K 60 * R2 = 600K V+ = 10 volts V- = -10 volts Apply a signal to input and observe to the input and observe the signal at point D, as a function of frequency. Output at point D as a function of frequency
The formula for the frequency of the given op-amp circuit is: Theoretical Frequency = 1 / (2Π*√6*RC)=1.032Khz Experimental Frequency=1.05 The gain for the circuit is 3.66 Design the three stage RC filter network on the right side of Fig 1 with a gain of 1/29 and a phase shift of 180 at 1KHz. C =0.063μF R = 1kΩ Note R2 should be greater than R. Why? ٠ To reduce the load factor. To ensure that the output of the RC network does not load R2 at the inverting input of the op-amp
