Global Climate Change: Days at the Park can be Globally Fun By Alexis Wetherill (Grade me out of 30 points. Chapter 4: Global Climate Change, From Discussing the Environment) As the parents are watching their children play at the park, they begin to lose focus and turn to each other to converse. David: ( looks at the other parents to start conversation) Man, I can’t believe how hot it is. I thought May was supposed to average 78 degree Fahrenheit. Sarah: Oh, I know. This month has been so hot it has been what the high 80s the past 2 weeks. I cannot imagine what July is going to be like. Peter: Well, you should be expecting the rise in temperature each year because of the greenhouse effect. Rose: ( laughs) What? The greenhouse effect does not exist. This is just an abnormal year. Peter: ( gives her a rude look) Are you serious, right now? There are hard-core scientific facts that show the greenhouse effect does indeed exist. Sarah:
