Projects Experimental Animation: Objective: Design and develop a 30-40 sec. animation sequence using one of the following animation techniques: stop-motion animation, drawing on paper, clay animation, pixilation, cut-out animation. Final Project: Objective: Design and implement a professional quality animated short to be submitted to a juried animation festival. General Project Guidelines The final product must be complete with all aspects of production at a professional level The project must include original work (models, materials, etc.). However, secondary models, as well as bitmaps from free Internet resources may be used, but may not take focus. The project must have a sound track Delivery 720x480 or higher Length appropriate for project - target around 2-3 minutes Include an Internet-ready copy in either the Sorensen (QT) format, MPEG-1, Windows Media, or DIVX Team/company www site: o Web-based information site o Must include: Project welcome page
