Here is a copy of an email with a top down explanation of the site and its purpose. Attached is a one page pdf outlining the basic idea and the image is just a generic visualization of who could be matched. The list would obviously be bigger. While a lot of innovation comes from academic research, the lion's share of technology and application driven innovation comes from the private sector. me. However, I had the same problem most inventors have, no network of talent to move the idea to the market. We (the pragmatic fixers) come up with the solutions, but have almost no ability to build a team because we did not attend college and therefore we do not have the acquired network of people to provide the skills (and sometimes money) to create and run a new venture. So much innovation is being lost because of this one (large) obstacle. I spent years facing the start up dilemma, "You need a team to get money and you need money to get a team". If I had a dollar for every time. ...... What is needed is a website that specifically provides a platform for introduction and interaction/collaboration between inventors (the ideas) and talent (the team). Unless I missed something, I have not found any sites which provide what I envision. I am sure you know about crowd funding. I have the ERS Drive on FundaGeek and I have my artwork on Kickstarter. These are good sites and they provide a specific service to get some money from the crowd, but they don't provide what the entrepreneur needs most. ..talent. I could get tons of money for the ERS through crowd funding, but if I don't have a team with the skills required to actually get the thing off the granted patent table and into the market, what good does it do me? I'll just waste it by spending way more than I need to on less. So follow me on this. " Bringing ideas and talent
