Soltow November 30, 2011 American Intercontinental University Do you think ownership for data center staff should end with the hardware, or does it continue to the application data? And what are 2 reasons that you can use to support your answer to the question above? I believe this decision first depends on the size of company in question. In my experience, I generally see that smaller companies tend to allow their support of software to be handled by individual divisions or groups who may have a better understanding of what it is they need and also have a better chance of getting their way when the number of staff is at a minimum. This of course happens because less people are involved and is consequently believed that those involved have the best understanding. However, on the other hand hardware is specific and limited, and can be generally easier managed by a smaller more secular number of staff.
