Soltow June 22, 2011 American Intercontinental University National Threat Level Indicator The National Threat Level Indicator shows the current level of malicious terrorist activity in the nation and reflects the potential/actual damage that could or has occurred. It consists of three levels; (Priest,2010) 1. The first level (Yellow) indicates that the national threat level currently resides at a state in which little to no concern is necessary in relation to the security of the nation. This is clarified by a message of “All is Well” 2. The second level (Orange) indicates that the national threat level currently resides at a state in which there is a heightened risk of terrorist activity in relation to the security of the nation, and in accordance everyone should “Be on the Look Out” 3. The third level (Red) indicates that the national threat level currently resides at a state in which there is no longer hope for the security of the
