Planning and Implementing a Network Unit 4 Discussion Board Kregg M. Soltow August 10, 2011 American Intercontinental University A Network Monitor is generally referred to as a protocol analyzer. Most often it is used to capture traffic on a network and then analyze all the non-specific contents of the packets of that traffic in order to troubleshoot issues like such as identifying incorrectly transmitted packets. A System monitor is generally considered to give the user an instantaneous glance at the performance of a machine or even a networked group of machines. This instrument offers multiple thorough performance tendencies and even includes the capability of monitoring the performance of the processor, consumption of memory, and also network exploitations. By monitoring network exploitations, the user has the ability to critically determine whether or not a meticulous network card is the cause of any given problem with any given network. Problems such as; lost packets and etc. The system monitor tool can also help out in verifying what
