2 UNIT 3 INTRODUCING POWERPOINT (DB) Introduction There are mainly two methods for constructing a new Power Point presentation. The first way is to create each new slide from scratch. By doing this the presenter is basically starting each slide as a blank; adding text boxes and formatted text; adding bullets and numbering; adding colors; and perhaps adding any clip art, charts, or graphics you might want to use. The second way is to use premade slide templates, slide layouts, and color and animation schemes already built into PowerPoint. Introducing PowerPoint Now personally I believe the advantages of starting your presentation from scratch far out weigh those of the pre generated nature. Not only do you get the opportunity to gear and mold your presentation to exactly what it is your trying to relay, but it’s completely within your control.
