New again I. Intro a. 2 Corinthians 5:17 If anyone belongs to Christ, there is a new creation.  The old things  have gone; everything is made new! II. What it means to have a new life a. Freedom from living the worlds way a.i. Galatians 1:6-7 a.i.1. I am shocked that you are turning away so soon from God, who  in his love and mercy, called you to share the eternal life he gives Christ.  You are already following a different way that pretends   to be the Good  News but is not the Good News at all. You are being fooled by those who  twist and change the truth concerning Christ b. Release from an empty life b.i. 1 Peter 1:18-19 b.i.1. For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the  empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And the ransom he paid  was not mere gold or silver. He paid for you with the precious lifeblood of  Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God (1 Peter 1:18-19).
