Our creator I. Intro a. Who is God i. Many different opinions b. Until you get to know someone it’s impossible to know what they’re really like c. Next few weeks were going to talk about who God is i. Even though we can never fully understand him, if we could then what would make him God ii. What makes God separate from us iii. Ecclesiastes 3:11 11  He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has  also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God  has done from beginning to end. iv. Ecclesiastes 8:16-17  16  In my search for wisdom and in my observation of  people’s burdens here on earth, I discovered that there is ceaseless  activity, day and night.  17  I realized that no one can discover everything  God is doing under the sun. Not even the wisest people discover  everything, no matter what they claim. II. What some humans think about God a. Atheism  b. Agnosticism  c. Deism (created but no longer involved) d. Pantheism (everything is God, worship creation) e. Satanism f. Humanism (were here on our own) III. Evidences that make people believe there is a God a. Every effect has a cause

Some people view God as just being mad at everyone c. Some people view God as apathetic, letting us do whatever we want because he doesn’t care d. Some people view him as just the man upstairs e. Some people view him as a higher power and put themselves at a distance from him f. Some people view god as a grandparent, where he should give them everything that they ask for g. Some people think god is the principal, only go to him when you’re in trouble VI. In Exodus God said to Moses I am who I am
