Remaining Strong I. Intro a. Know anybody that doesn’t grow like their supposed to? a.i. What causes that? a.i.1. Glands, hormones, things within our body that don’t work right b. A lot of times Christians don’t grow like their supposed to either b.i. Now what causes that? b.i.1. It’s not a problem with a bodily organ or gland c. In order to grow closer to God and stronger in our relationship with him, we need to run TO God not away from him c.i. (When kids like someone they chase them) c.ii. We have those two options when facing any problem we may have d. Running away from God d.i. You run away from things that scare you d.ii. you think you can do it on your own, too good for God, prideful e. Running to God e.i. You run to things you like e.ii. Realize you can’t do it alone, you want to do things Gods way f. In order to grow in God you need to… II. Consider where your life has been lately a. Is it where it should be or do you need some help (in the gutter) b. Have you blown it? Wish you cpould just start over?
