Week 2 - Assignment 1 Leadership Scenario Dustin Taylor Chadron State College MGMT 620 High Performance Leadership Single Loop Learning Situation As someone who has spent most of their adult life working in a manufacturing type environment, many of the single-loop or double-loop learning leadership scenarios that come to mind involved the inability for shop employees to finish the allotted number of units each week. At Solomon Corporation, the employees of the shop were given a list of the electrical transformer that must be built and shipped by the end of the week. Many times the list was not complete at the end of the week, so I was assigned the task of figuring out what needed to be done to solve the problem. As someone with no “real” experience in problem solving, I went about fixing the problem in the easiest manner I could. If the work isn't getting done, then we must need more workers. After adding nearly 50 percent more workers to the workforce, the problem was solved. From that point on, most weeks ended with all units being successfully
