My initial vote after immediately reading the Byte, Inc. case was to vote in favor of using the temporary plant to fill the 3 year gap that would be necessary until the completion of the new manufacturing facility. Analysis From Both Sides CEO Elliott CEO Elliott is looking at this case purely from the perspective of the person that was hired by Byte, Inc. to make the company as profitable as possible. By filling the 3 year gap that will result from building a new facility, Elliott is making sure that the company is able to fill all their orders, along with making sure that they retain their 32 percent market share. Board of Director Williams BOD Williams is looking at the problem from an ethical point of view. He doesn't think it's right to knowingly put 1,200 workers out of work after the 3 year period, regardless of the monetary reasons. Byte, Inc. would hire the employees and let them go three years later, creating a town full of reasons....
