Why do you need to know about information technology? • I don’t need to know how a car works in order to drive a car! • So why do I need to know how hardware and software work? • Well… it’s true you don’t need to know how a car works to drive it, but no one is going to pay you to drive one either. • People who get paid to drive cars, know how they work. This knowledge gives them an advantage.
