Nucleus is very small Brown adipose tissue (BAT) – Appearance Multiple, smaller lipid droplets. BROWN FAT IS FOUND ONLY IN FETUS AND EARLY INFANCY. IT IS LOST VERY EARLY ON. BAT is important for non-shivering thermogenesis. UCP-1 therogenin is responsible or this. UCP-1 is Reticular connective tissue: kind of LCT. Structural framework for blood vessels, lymphoid organs. Found in tissues specialized in making blood cells Usually reticular fibers found among blood cells and also fibroblasts , which are called reticular cells when they are found in this context. Dense Regular Connective Tissue Ligaments, tendons, resistance to unidirectional pulling forces Mainly composed of collagen fibers Collagen is has both TENSILE STRENGTH and HIGH
