ENGR 19500 – Spring 2010 Activity 1 Class 12a Activity 1 - Function Discovery GUI (Estimated Time = 45 minutes) Design and build a Graphical User Interface (GUI) in MATLAB that will help the user determine the relationship and general form of the equation for a data set. The GUI should: allow the user to enter the full name of the data file (e.g. data1.txt), allow the user to select the scaling of the axes (i.e. linear, semilogx, semilogy, log-log), and plot the data. An example GUI is shown below. Note that your GUI does NOT need to look identical. This is an opportunity to explore the GUIDE interface and to try the different components available.
