Design for the Environment – Single Use Cameras Topic/Lesson: Design for the Environment – Single Use Cameras Learning Activities: Task 1 - Individual Exercise (Estimated Time = 5 minutes) http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~odalrymp/ENGR195/Task1.html (Students) Match Components to Functions - Pictures of 8 components from the Fujifilm QuickSnap Outdoor 1000 one-time-use camera are shown in each question. Students are required to look at their form and attempt to identify the component that performs the listed function. Students will receive scores at the end of the task. Task 2 - Team Exercise (Estimated Time = 30 minutes) http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~odalrymp/ENGR195/RE.pdf Reverse Engineering – Students are asked to systematically disassemble the Fujifilm QuickSnap Outdoor 1000 camera. As they take-apart the camera that will use the blank sheets of paper provided to record the components or parts that make up the product along with a description of how the components function to make the camera work. Task 3 - Team Exercise (Estimated Time = 30 minutes)
