CNIT 15500 bring headphones to lab Fall 2011 Prof. Harriger Due: Monday, 9/19/11, 10 pm 10 Points Description You are going to continue using Scratch to create more advanced animations. We will use the features covered in the second and fourth sets of video lessons found on http://learnscratch.org . These lessons include more detailed explanations of some things we covered in last week’s lab as well as new features that we didn’t cover. You should complete these video lessons to gain a firmer grounding of the topics below: Playing sounds Playing drums Playing instruments Pen and color control Pen size, shade, stamp UNIT 4: Sensing and Variables Palettes Mouse and keyboard control Touching, over, distance reporting Using the timer and volume Variables In-Lab Activity You will modify the in-lab from last week to employ some of the features covered in the video lessons for this week. 1. To get started with today’s lab, make a copy of last week’s in-lab. 2. Add a dial sprite, power sprite, and score sprite. 3. Move the stage’s come-and-play sound to the cat sprite. 4. Create two additional costumes for the stage which have just the blue sky and green grass. a.
