THREE DAY DIET ANALYSIS CHECKPOINT 2 Three Day Diet Analysis Checkpoint When analyzing what I have consumed from the past three days has opened my eyes. I have always thought I have ate pretty healthy. After entering what I actually consumed into the MyPyramid tacker, I was able to see some areas of concern. I thought I was eating enough in each food group each day, the tracker showed on average I was not eating enough of what I should be. On average I was eating about 4.8 ounces of grain a day when I should actually be eating 7 ounces a day. I was only eatin 1.5 ounces of vegietables when the recommended average ounce equivelent is 3. The meat and beans group has a simular story. I was only eating half of the recommnded average ounce equivalent of 6 ounces. I was close to meeting the requirements for fruit. I was eating on average of 1.7 ounces when the recommendation is 2 ounces. Milk was the only group that I was meeting the cut. The average ounce equivelant I was getting was 3.4 ounces when the recommended average ounce equivelent is 3 ounces. This was actually alarming to me.
