There are four symptoms that are shared by acute and posttraumatic stress are: avoidance, re-experiencing the traumatic event, reduced responsiveness, and increased arousal, anxiety, and guilt. 2. Life events that will most likely trigger a stress disorder are: combat, natural disasters, victimization, and terrorism, loss of loved one, and loss of job. Others can cause stress to like break ups it just depends on the person. 3. There are several reasons that can influence how a person might be affected by a traumatic event such as: Biological, genetic, personality, childhood experiences, and etc. . The severity of the event is what will determine how the person was affected and how to treat them. 4. The four stage approach in meeting the psychological needs of disaster victims are: normalizing people’s responses to the disaster, encouraging the expression of
