Chapter 2: Executive Summary A.Name of the Enterprise The name of the enterprise shall be Trash to Cash Junk Shop . It is a simplified phrase about the process of converting trash , an unwanted or undesired waste material, into cash , money in the physical form of currency, as we quote: "we encash your trash" . Our company primarily deals in providing an easy and cost-efficient way of solid waste management in response to environment's changing needs; provide proper segregation of waste in dumpsites, commercial and residential areas in particular. B. Location The junkshop will be situated in our proposed location at 2000 A M. Carreon St., Brgy 866 Zone 95 Sta. Ana, Manila. The location was chosen with due consideration to the following factors: a. Nearness to target market Our target markets are potential wholesaler/company that has by-products /scraps in their businesses that would fall under those recyclables that we accept and small junkshops that prefer to sell their junks to bigger junkshop. Walk-in customer/retailers with recyclable items are also entertained. Being situated within the boundary of Makati and Manila, it is within a commercial district and proximate to residential area making the junkshop accessible to the target markets. b. Accessibility to other clients The clients referred to are the recycling agents to whom the junkshop owner will be selling the junk items, which have been sorted and segregated. The chosen location is suitably near each recycling center to facilitate the transportation of the junk items. c. Easiness of transportation The location is highly accessible to private and public utility vehicles, trucks included. C. Descriptive Definition of the Project a. Project Potential and Proponents Our project will promote environmental awareness among people given the growing need for proper disposal and recycling of materials.
