Chapter 5: Technical Aspect Company Logo One of the most essential promotional strategies a business must consider is to come up with a captivating trademark to win the market. This involves creating a logo. As what we quote “we encash your trash”, our logo informs and encourages people not to consider their junks worthless. It is that through our business, both the customers and the management will be benefited while being environmental-friendly. To accomplish this, the Trash to Cash business name was established. As the name implies, the company primarily involves process of converting trash into cash conveying its significance to its market, as to profitability, and its environment. It is made simple yet appealing to linger in the said customers’ minds. TRASH-TO-CASH Trash to Cash Junk Shop has been established by the partners to offer waste utilization and management. Proper waste disposal and segregation have been one of the major environmental issues in the Philippines. People don’t pay much attention to the said issues for they think it will not bring them any return. For most, effort to do so is not practical. Trash to Cash Junk Shop encourages the citizens to earn money by selling their scraps while helping the environment at the same time. In that case, both our business and the customers will benefit from each other. 51

TRANSPORTATION As a means of transporting a large volume of recyclable materials to its respective recycling centers, the company decided to provide one truck to efficiently facilitate its smooth operations. The same truck shall be used as a service truck to collect recyclable items from contracted customer, such as smaller junk shops and establishments. This was based on the result of the survey where the smaller junk shops have their own truck to deliver their scrap materials while in households and establishments, they prefer to deliver their junks by their own that’s why only truck is provided for the business. WAREHOUSE AND OFFICE The business is in a contract of lease situated at 2000A – M. Carreon St. Sta. Ana, Manila. The area is measured to be 300 square meters including office space. Its lease cost is contracted to be 45000 Php per month. LOCATION One of the major factors in developing a project feasibility study is choosing a suitable location for the proposed draft. The proponents consider various factors such as the proximity of the area to the prospective target market, the accessibility to recycling centers, transportation cost, availability of skilled and unskilled workers and lease cost. Also, the proponents consider if the area is in need of a junk shop and the possibility of expansion and survival.
