My transition here into Immaculata has been a good one. I have grown both intellectually and socially. With that said, the purpose of this paper is to thus reflect on my first semester. Being a transfer student, I have already experienced the initial college transition last year. However, I have still learned a lot here in just these first few months. One big concept that I took out of FYE was the time management lesson. I started off the semester still in ‘summer-mode.’ In other words, wanting to do absolutely nothing. Until the workload started getting heavier, and once I picked up two part-time jobs, I knew I needed to apply time management techniques into my life! I religiously use a planner of mine, similar to the Time Management spreadsheet on Angel. By writing down any assignments, even future ones, I was successfully able to maintain school and work without much stress. Staying organized was my main focus for the semester, since this
