There are nine major categories of leather Cattle Group – Steer, Cow, Bull Sheep and Lamb Group Goat and Kid Group Equine Group - Horse, Colt, Donkey, Mule, and Zebra Buffalo Group Pig and Hog Group Deer Group Kangaroo and Wallaby Group Exotic Leathers - Aquatic - frog, seal, shark, walrus, turtle Land - camel, elephant, ostrich Reptile - alligator, crocodile, lizard, snake
