Coca-Cola's bottling plants in India were said to be using too much water, depriving local villagers of supplies for drinking and irrigation. Concerned Stakeholders: The Center for Science and the Environment and Indian Activists. Their expectations versus The company's performance: Coca-Cola operated in more than 200 countries, providing 1.6 billion servings of different drinks. Water was essential to their business because they needed 80 billion gallons of water worldwide annually. The India Resource Center tried to convince schools and colleges to boycott Coca-Cola products. An Indian court also issued that they should list the pesticide residues on their labels. The Stakeholders basically wanted to eliminate what Coca-Cola used to function. 2.) Most Significant Environment:
