1.)  1.Social Science Definitions - When defining culture using social science  definitions, scholars influence their research in psychology and view  culture as a set of learned, group related perceptions. They believe that  it is important to examine culture in the social environment and with  various groups of individuals.  2. Interpretive Definitions - This way of defining culture is influence by  anthropological studies. It also views cultures as shared and learned,  but the scholars here focus on contextual patterns of communication  behavior instead of group- related perceptions. They believe that culture  influences communication and then that communication reinforces  culture.  3. Critical Definitions - These are definitions that are more influenced by  cultural studies scholarship, and instead of focusing on the  homogeneity of a group, they focus on how the groups are different and
