Dan Aiello HOM 195 Hutchinson 10/25/11 Concert Report #3 I attended Pathos, Subtleties and passion on October 25 th 2011 and I was in all honestly intrigued by this concert. At this concert Dr. Ju Yong Ha led the performance with Eun Sun Jung playing the Gayageum, Lee Kyung Kang playing the Haegeum and Yi Su Chung playing the Janggo. Before going to this concert I had no idea what Classical Korean was about. I found out that Classical Korean music is solely a presentational performance. Classical Korean in some ways I felt similar to classical music American’s are used to. The songs were lengthy and had different parts to them. Overall Classical Korean music left a positive impression on me. At this concert five songs were performed and each gave me a different impression. The two songs that stuck out to me were the first song Cheonnyeon Manse and the second song Samdo Seoljanggo both for different reasons. The Second song gave me the impression that this
