Homework 7 Question A survey is conducted by listing all of the precincts (e.g. neighborhood size areas) in Richland and Lexington county. A random sample of 5 households is then chosen in each of the precincts to take part in the survey. Cluster samples are mentioned on the top of page 66 (but were gone into more detail in class). Systematic samples were gone over in class. Convenience sample is back on page 22 in Chapter 2. Question An in-depth survey is conducted by selecting 10 precincts (e.g. neighborhood size areas) at random from all of the precincts in Richland and Lexington county. Detailed information on every household in those 10 precincts will then be gathered.
