UNITED STATES-CENTRIC VIEWS COMPARISON 2 United States-Centric Views Comparison I decided to ask my son’s girlfriend if she would help me with this assignment. There are two reasons I decided to ask for her input. The first is because she is from a younger generation and therefore I thought the differences would be interesting between the descriptors that we chose. The second is because she is not a family member and being an outsider would also create more of a contrast in where we placed each descriptor. After comparing both tables, I was glad that I chose her for my input. I found that indeed our tables were very different. The only similarities seemed to be in the descriptors we chose for both groups in the table and even then she had chosen many more descriptors than I had listed. I decided after comparing both the tables to question her a little bit about what influenced her
