From what I can see, there were no test plans in place and no prototypes were used. The focus was based entirely on the inventory alone and no emphasis was placed on the order process from beginning to end. Focus was placed on the inventory and warehouse staff alone and reducing the cost of labor and time associated with that. I would have suggested a more traditional and thorough approach throughout the entire company which would have included connecting all departments through and enterprise system so that each department could share information and requirements amongst each other. I would have suggested a more long term and efficient methodology. The Traditional Systems Development Lifecycle would achieve the goals of the company in all areas not just the warehouse and inventory areas....
