HARDWARE REPLACEMENT PROJECT 2 Hardware Replacement Project Project: IT Department CRM Implementation Hardware Refresh. The following variables apply to the project as follows: 1. Scope – What are the system requirements for implementation and configuration of the CRM application. How old is the oldest equipment requiring refresh? How many locations (if more than one) will require hardware refresh? Define the quantity and type of hardware that requires refresh prior to installation and configuration. Will additional equipment installation be required? 2. Time – Based on the scope of the project, the availability of the hardware requiring refresh and any additional equipment requirements, how much time will be required to refresh the hardware and install and configure the CRM application. If training of the CRM application will be required, the amount of time allocated for training must also be considered in addition to any troubleshooting or scheduling issues that may arise during the refresh. 3. Cost – The cost of necessary equipment required to refresh current hardware in addition to the cost of technical staff to complete the refresh, install and configure the CRM Application and provide training must be allocated. 4.
