Week 5 - Assignment 2 Team Effectiveness Dustin Taylor Chadron State College MGMT 620 High Performance Leadership Target Team It may be hard to believe, but I'm not currently part of anything that would qualify as a team. I'll have to use an example from past work experience to fulfill the TLM analysis. At Solomon Corporation, I was a part of an approximately 20 person team that was tasked with building and testing electrical transformers and other equipment. We were divided into (2) 8-10 person groups, each with a working manager as the group superior. Above the working managers was a team leader that was in charge of all 20 members of the group and worked as the group liaison with upper-management. Outputs and Effectiveness The output of each team member was measured on a daily basis. Each working member was supposed to produce (1) 3-phase transformer or (3) single-phase transformers per 10 hour shift. The number of transformers that passed quality control was supposed to exceed 99% for all employees. Outcomes are acceptable to stakeholders
