*Read Japanese: The Written Language(JWL) Lesson 1A pp.1-12 and
practice all examples in Japanese orthography until you can read them
readily, pronounce them correctly, and recognize what the item
corresponds to in English. You will be asked to read the Examples in
section class; you should be able to handle the examples in class
fluently, accurately and without hesitation.
