ESTABLISHMENT AND REVISION OF
ATS ROUTES WITHIN HO CHI MINH FIR

INTRODUCTION
1.1
This AIP Supplement (SUP) serves to inform the establishment of new international
ATS segments/routes as well as revision of certain ATS routes in order to reduce the
distance and time for flights to increase the effectiveness of flight operations for air
carriers.

CONTENTS
2.1
New
ATS segments/routes
1)
New ATS route Q15 Cam Ranh - MESOX:
-
Lower limit:
FL250 (7600m).
- Minimum safe altitude:
4250m (FL140).
- Operational use:
+ Flights to, from Cam Ranh Airport; flights from Tan Son Nhat International Airport to
Northeast Asia and V.V,
overflights at FL250 (7600m) and above;
+ Overflights below FL250 (7600m) can be only used when having ATC approval
(based on agreement with the relevant Regional Air Traffic Command and
Management Centre).
2)
New segment Phu Cat – BUNTA (extension of current ATS route G221):
-
Lower limit:
FL290 (8850m).
- Minimum safe altitude:
4250m (FL140).

Operational use:
+ International flight to, from Tan Son Nhat International Airport at FL290 (8850m) and
above; overflights at FL290 (8850m) and above.
