REACTION TIME
-How long takes to respond to presentation of stimulus
SIMPLE REACTION TIME TASK
-Reacting to presence/ absence of stimulus
CHOICE REACTION TIME TASK
-Reacting to one of two or more stimuli
SAVINGS METHOD
-Method used to measure retention in
EBBINGHAUS’
memory
experiments. He read lists on nonsense syllables & determined how many
repetitions it took to repeat the lists w/ no errors. He then repeated this
procedure after various intervals following initial learning & compared the
number of repetitions needed to achieve no errors
