INTELLIGENCE VS WISDOM 2 Intelligence VS Wisdom A person who is known as an emotionally intelligent person is not arrogant or self- centered. On the contrary; a person in possession of emotional intelligence is able to perceive facilitate, understand, and manage emotions. Perceiving emotions properly encompasses the ability to recognize personal emotions while identifying them in others. When a person is able to facilitate an emotion properly, they are able to use that emotion for more effective problem solving and decision making. This allows people to think on a deeper more creative level. The ability to label emotions and understand the cause and consequence of the emotion is how people develop an understanding of emotions. The final element of emotional wisdom is the ability to manage emotions effectively. When a person is able to harness their emotions and communicate
