What does the electric potential look like in a region where it is constant? Like a plain, no shape. Flat and horizontal. 3. What is special about the direction of the electric field compared to the electric potential? Electric potential is elevation, and electric field is downward slope. Electric field is always perpindicular to the potential. 4. In what year was the neon light invented? 1909. 5. Define electric potential: the difference in electrical charge between two points in a circuit (volts). Ability to do work while making electric charges go. 6. How many volts do neon lights typically use to do their work?
