Write about a few examples of either Saturday Night skits or Political cartoons. You should identify your example, and describe what argument is being presented in the comedic routine or illustration. I choose an SNL skit with Tina Fey as Sarah Palin. Link is shown below. The argument being presented is that Sarah Palin is not very intelligent. They are trying to argue that her vocabulary is very limited and her knowledge of what’s going on in the world is very lacking. They also try to argue that she is unfamiliar with many common terms. They are also trying to argue that she uses her words incorrectly on a regular basis making it appear that she is very unknowledgeable and unsuitable to run in political office. The end of the video shows the real Sarah Palin and by doing this they are showing how accurate their argument is to reality.
