Book Report Professional Success - How to Thrive in the Professional World - Success really depends who you are, where you come from, what your life experiences have been so far, what you want to achieve, and where you want to go in life. For me, success means taking my responsibilities seriously and working hard at each one until I reach my set goals. Likewise, the definition of success will be different for everyone, but it is found in this book that the ways to become personally effective and professionally successful have some common elements; in other words, this book well represents how to manage career and life in the professional world. However, I want to suggest new skills for professional success that the author did not consider in the globalized 21 st century. Although my suggestions may be in the view of foreigner, international student, and may not be appropriate to local professions, in my opinion, these suggestions will be well worth consideration. As a result of globalization, professionals face new challenges in the 21 st century. New skills are needed to meet these challenges in order to achieve professional success.
