Prepare a 700-1,050-word paper in which you define the four functions of management (planning, organizing, leading, and controlling) and explain how each function relates to your own organization. Be sure to cite at least two references in your paper. Every association, despite the size, has perfected and implemented its own organization ideas in order for it to run effortlessly and achieve the vision, goals and objectives it has set out. The fundamental functions of management, which are broken down into four different areas, permit for it to handle the planned, calculated, and prepared decisions for the association. The four functions of management are: planning, organizing, directing, and controlling. http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/373994/the_four_functions_of_management_foundatio n.html Planning is the center part of all the functions of management. It is the basis upon which the other three areas must be structuring. Planning demands management to decide where the business is at this time, and where the company would want to be in the coming time. From there a suitable path of action to accomplish the businesses’ purposes and aspirations is determined and fulfilled. The planning procedure is a continuing process. There are uncontrollable, external factors that constantly affect a company both positively and negatively. Depending on the circumstances, these external factors may cause a company to adjust its course of action in accomplishing certain goals. This is referred to as strategic planning.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
