SWOT ANALYSIS 2 SWOT Analysis The company model that I chose to perform a SWOT analysis on is called Jolly’s Java and Bakery (JJB). It is a start-up coffee and bakery retail establishment located in Washington. It is a company that is owned equally by two partners. They plan to offer a full range of coffee and espresso products along with freshly prepared bakery and pastry products. After reading the business plan in its entirety, I performed the SWOT analysis and the following is my explanation discussing the business’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of Jolly’s Java and Bakery. First, I will discuss the strengths I found within the business. JJB’s two owners are very experienced and creative. Mr. Austin Patterson has experience in sales, marketing, and management. He was vice president with Jansonne & Jansonne and Burper Foods. Mr. David Fields has experience in finance and administration. He was the CFO with Flaxfield Roasters and the national coffee chain store chain, BuzzCups. They both have the experience to run a successful business and they have both worked in the food industry prior to opening JJB. I believe that this company has a well-developed and researched business model. They have an extensive business plan that covers everything from products and services to all the financials. I believe it has well-designed products and services that will satisfy the customers’ needs. In Washington, the weather is cool which stimulates consumption of hot beverages throughout the year. They also state in their business plan that there is not much direct competition in their area. Any competition that is there does not offer the level of quality as JJB. I believe they have they
