Roadmap Step – Technical Baseline Review Process Description Purpose and Description: ISM performs and end to end Technical Baseline review with senior IT executives in order to obtain current “as-is” infrastructure information and make recommendations for the “future” IT infrastructure as it pertains to applications, data, hardware and network connectivity. This is done through an initial outline and a series of interviews with key client personnel so as to mold the technical capabilities to that of the business vision of the future. The technical interviews are designed to: Obtain a thorough understanding of the current state. Allow ISM to work with IT personnel towards a compatible, secure and sound technology model that will support business desires. Allow ISM to identify significant issues (positive or negative) that could impact the project. Provide input for ISM to draft a high level technical baseline review. ISM assembles the data, and makes recommendations that are delivered in the Technical Baseline report.
